The Latest Techs Introduced at CES 2026

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) took place from January 6th to January 9th in Las Vegas, and it had a lot of things to show us.

For instance, Lenovo and Samsung revealed all their new tech,which honestly had me ready for a lot of new stuff I want to buy because of all the Artificial Intelligence (AI) features included in their devices for more ease and convenience.

Coming back to the CES, here are all the types of technology that every exhibitor introduced, which I am looking forward to as well.

Accessibility Tech

The first thing that caught my attention was accessibility tech since I’m a huge fan of smartwatches and what they offer.

The wearables that were introduced at the show included AR glasses like the Ray-Ban Meta, latest smartwatches, amazingsmart rings with more real-time assistance, advanced health tracking, in-depth alerts, and a lot more. The latest smartphones offered features such as live captioning, object identification, enhanced magnification, and hearing tests at home.

However, for the home devices part, many companies introduced better voice assistants, smart appliances, and enhanced security systems dedicated to helping the elderly. I’ll have to say, companies have worked a lot to improve the standard of living at home through their new products and technology.

The most noticeable companies included .lumen, ATDev, WheelMove, WiRobotics, and a lot more.

Artificial Intelligence

As I already mentioned, this year’s CES had a lot to showcase for Artificial Intelligence.

I was glad to see the world making a shift from digital transformation to intelligent transformation, where we have machines and computers carrying out mundane tasks for us. All of this has been made possible thanks to the creation and development of AI over the years, bringing fruitful results in sectors such as customer experience, productivity, and even healthcare.

The major types of AI usually include digital twins, vertical AI, agentic AI, physical AI, and industrial AI in the robotics sector. Many major companies were a part of the show, including AMD, Lenovo, NVIDIA, Samsung Electronics, and TCL.

Entertainment

Many of us spend our weekends bingeing on some show on Netflix or crying over a sentimental movie on Amazon Prime Video, and you’ll be glad to know that content and entertainment were also a part of this year’s CES.

Streaming services are now focused on providing proper ecosystems to the viewer, also integrating bundled offerings and original content. Media companies have also been responding to these innovations by providing flexible formats, AI-drivenalgorithms, and bingeable IP so that subscribers have a better experience as they stream their favorite content.

The most prominent companies at the show included Amazon Prime Video, Dolby, Charter Communications, Meta, Netflix, Reddit, Roku, Snap, Uber, and X.

Digital Health

I was actually glad to see that companies were doing a lot for digital health as well.

For instance, they’ve been working on early detection, better accessibility, virtual nursing, and enhanced outcome prediction. These technological breakthroughs were shown on the show,and I was taken aback by how far we’ve come in terms of digital health.

This sector also included other forms of tech, such as wearables and over-the-counter monitoring devices, for more accurate testing. The companies showcasing their products included Abbott, Vivoo, and Withings, among many more.

Energy Technology

This was probably my favorite exhibit out of all of the others, since I have always had an interest in energy and sustainable development. This year’s CES showed a lot of next-gen breakthroughs that really swept me off my feet. These technologies included better batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, extended-range EVs, and plug-in hybrids.

Not only that, but companies kept their focus on energy management for home systems as well, such as greater battery energy storage for solar energy, smart home energy management systems, and portable power systems. The main companies showing their tech included Donut Lab, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and Superheat.

Smart Home Technology

Since I already have a lot of smart home technology at home, I was very interested to see what they bring this year, and I’ll tell you this, the exhibitions did not disappoint.

The smart home technologies now include the latest appliances, improved assistants, enhanced energy management, interactiveentertainment, robotic integration, and more secure features based on consumer control, sustainability, and convenience.

This year has a lot to offer in terms of new technology, and I honestly can’t wait to get my hands on it!
